• Pakistan is facing the worlds largest and
  fastest displacement of people probably since the
  1994 Rwandan genocide.

• A military offensive in the north west against
  the Taleban has forced fast approaching two
  million people to flee for their lives.

Those escaping have few belongings. They
urgently need basic essentials, such as food and
water.

• for an end to fighting in North West Frontier
  Province and the return of stability
• for displaced civilians to be able to go home
  soon
• for the swift rebuilding of damaged homes and
  livelihoods

• for those grieving the loss of loved ones,
  neighbours and friends
• for Tearfund partners as they bring aid, comfort
  and hope to the vulnerable
• for a generous response in Pakistans hour of
