Summary
Young people are called to face the challenge of
building a future full of peace and dialogue.
Overcoming the hostility fomented by the past
divisions and by prejudice is the difficult aim
of the action. In order to reach it is important
that young people animate cultural ways of
exchange, also in a dialogue of peer education.
5
General objective
  • Experimentation of dialogue and intercultural
exchange strategies among young people and
children of the Euromediterranean area, in
particular Israeli, Palestinian and Italian young
    people and children.
  • Building awareness of human rights
  • Encouraging acknowledgement of the common
    Mediterranean belonging and roots.

6
Specific objectives
  • Acknowledgement and welcoming of diversity, of
otherness and of a flexible identity of the
    other.
  • The increased propensity to define ones own
identity without setting it up against others.
  • The awareness of ones own and others rights as
human beings, at the same time different and
    equal.

  • Through experimentation on expressive means of

with space and with other people, the theatre
workshop is a means of individual and collective
discovery. The artistic and non conventional
expression demanded by a workshop on theatrical
    expression leads participants direclty into
    mutual confrontation and encourages involvement
into the suggested themes. The final performance
is a way to share the workshops experience.
