A New Discovery

• Picture a land where the tallest man is three
  feet tall.
• Where the natives must battle dragons, and hunt
  wild elephants to eat.
• This is something that has recently discovered.

A Fairy Tale Island

• The colony of tiny people was discovered on an
  isolated island of Indonesia.
• Scientist discovered the remains of eight tiny
  inhabitants.
• Also found in the cave were the remains of a
  komodo dragon and a pygmy elephant.

A New Race

• Scientists do not believe that this culture is a
  branch off of Homo sapiens.
• Instead they believe that they were a miniature
  species.
• This species existence overlapped with that of
  modern Homo sapiens.

Possible Encounters

• Many scientists do not believe that modern Homo
  sapiens and these little people ever met.
• But there are some who believe that due to the
  overlap in time in which they existed. There must
  have been face to face encounters.

A World Of Their Own

• These little people left no ancestors, therefore
  no real biological impact on earth.
• Meaning that they lived in a world of their own.
• This is the first discovery of a new hominine on
  earth.
