Anpan-mans Chinese New Year Holidays

• Hi, we are Amy and Jenny. Anpan-man
  visited our moms class. We were happy to take
  care of Anpan-man during the Chinese New Year. We
  planed to take him to visit our relatives, and
  Anpan-man could know our traditions on the
  festival.

Anpan-man took a spring festival couplet. We put
couplets on the front door because we wished to
have a peaceful new year.

On the way to our grandmas home, we rested at a
service station. We ate some food there.

We stayed one night at the hotel. We slept with
Anpan-man.

Finally, we arrived at Grandmas home. This is
our aunt. She put the spring festival couplet on
the door.

There were a lot of sweets on the table,
ready for the guests. We liked candy, and we ate
a lot. Anpan-man liked candy, too!

Anpan-man watched the lion dance. That is a form
of traditional dance in our culture.

Some foods have special meanings. For example,
the eight treasures rice pudding will bring a
sweet life.

We had a family reunion, and everyone enjoyed the
delicious foods.

After dinner, Grandma gave each of us a red
envelope. There was lucky money in it. Anpan-man
also got a red envelope from our aunt.

We visited our relatives on the New Year
Festival. Anpan-man played with our cousins.
