Introduction
  • The Civil War was one of the most tragic events
    in American History. This unit will provide the
    students with a deeper understanding of the
    events that led up to the war, the people who
    played key roles in the war, and the effects that
    the war played on American society, both then and
    today.

    of the Civil War and the toll it took on the
    American people.
