• There are many birds in the world but my
• favourite bird is a BUDGIE .

• Birds are VERTIBRATE animals .
• This means that they have a back bone.
• This is
  a skeleton
• of a
  bird

• Birds have feathers and
  wings.
• They dont have feet but they have claws.

These are budgies feet.

• Budgies should be kept in a cage and
  
  looked after
  carefully !!

Even though budgies should be kept in a cage,
they also need Sometime to fly around the house !!

• The Budgies favourite food are bird seeds.
• They drink water.

• Birds scratch more than usual whilst replacing
  their feathers (molt) because they itch and new
  feathers grow.

• Birds usually puff their feathers !
• This is because they are cold and they want to
• get their body temperature back

• Birds, sometimes yawn.
• This happens because the bird is tired.
• All birds sleep by turning its head backwards and
  tucks
• it into the back feathers.

• You can tell whether the bird is a male or a
  female by the colour of its beak.

If the colour of its beak is blue , then its a
male.
If the colour of its beak is pink ,then its a
female.
