A Timeline for Franklin Delano Roosevelt
  • January 30, 1882 FDR was born at Hyde Park.
  • March 17, 1905 he was married to Anna Eleanor
    Roosevelt.
  • August 1921 he was stricken with poliomyelitis.
  • In 1927 he founded the Georgia Warm Springs
    Foundation for the treatment of polio victims.
  • November 6, 1928 he was elected Governor of New
    York
  • November 8, 1932 FDR was elected President of the
    United States
  • April 12, 1945 Franklin Delano Roosevelt died in
    Warm Springs, Georgia of a brain hemorrhage.
