• On average there are about 8 or 9 basic cuts of
  meat that come form the beef, with many
  variations leading off of the basic cuts.
• Heres a few cuts and variations,
• - Round steak
• - Boneless Rump Roast
• - Bottom Round Roast
• - Tip Roast
• - Tip Steak

Fun fact With an average market (live or on
hoof) weight of 1,150 lbs. The typical steer will
produce a 715 lb. (dressed weight) carcass. So
right at around ½ of the animal can be used for
meat, and the rest can be used as By Products.
