Haq Bahoo Sultan Rice Mill is situated at PPL
Road near old shahi wah Kashmore District
Kashmore have Installed modernize Rice Husking
Plant Under the SEDF BMR Scheme with a capacity
of 2500 to 3000 munds per day. that comes to
around 480000 munds for the season of 160 day. we
are engaged in this business since 1995 and have
industrial background and sufficient experience
of business scenario local and national business
practices and also have concrete business
connections.

• In our area only 1 units have availed SEDF BMR
  Scheme facility and up-gradated their Mills,
  while the rest are conventional mills with high
  broken percentage (on an average, majority of the
  operational mills are selling rice having broken
  percentage of 30 to 35)
• Majority of the units have local machineries with
  virtually no fumigation system and high smoke
  content.
• No safety precautions are in place with outdated
  machineries (e.g. 45 of the mills are still
  using steel roller for de-husking)
• Majority of the mills are not updated in terms of
  quality control measures.

The process of rice milling is not a very
complex, it requires basic technical training.
The supplier of the machinery will be able to
provide initial guidance to run the equipments.
Special focus would be on quality and automation
in order to achieve high yield and less breakage
of rice. We believe in continuous growth through
increased productivity and improving quality of
rice and at the same time reduce broken
percentage. Continuous up-gradation of plant and
HR through training will be ensured in order to
introduce new technological advancements

• Our plant is consisting of Paddy Cleaning,
  Husker, Length Grader, Fan, Rotary Shifting,
  Aspiration System, Cyclone, Iron Frame,
  elevators, Plat Farm with Grill, Electric Panel
  and Motors.
• The Cleaning section consists of raw paddy
  cleaners, de-stoner and dust blowers, where the
  dust, mud, stones and immature paddy are removed
  to make it completely free from the foreign
  materials.
• Husking is the process of separating the rice
  from the husk. Rubber roll and hullers are used
  to shatter the paddy to produce rice. As per
  industry trends, the husking of paddy produces
  different products, which include 63 head rice
  percentage of broken, 5 broken rice, 2.5 powder
  rice, 28.5 husk and 1 waste and dust particles.
  The paddy husk is collected separately room and
  is used as the fuel for firing the boiler, or
  sold loosely for making cattle feed, manure, etc.

• Up-graded plant is more efficient than the
  traditional steel huller and consumes about
  one-half to two-thirds the power of the steel
  huller operating at the same capacity. The rice
  recovery rate is considerably higher in terms of
  total rice and head yields. Few advantages of
  Rice Husking Plant are
• Capacity is higher than steel huller type.
• Cracked and broken grain is less than steel
  huller type.
• More power efficient than steel huller type.
• Easy to operate.
• Low operation cost.
• Machine is very durable.
• It is nearly comparable to rubber rolls huller

• Current issues in Rice Industry
• Farmers are is still using the traditional method
  of cultivation and harvesting due to which the
  production quality is low and 20 to 30 losses
  of post harvesting
• Lack of supplies of certified seeds
• Power tariffs are on higher side which make the
  tube-well irrigation expensive
• No serious efforts have been made to improve the
  irrigation system and availability of water
  through natural source is on a decline.
• Proper machinery is not being used by the farmers
  in harvesting and threshing, which results in
  damage to quality of rice
• Obsolete rice milling machinery resulting in high
  broken percentage.
• The storage capacity for exports is insufficient
  with no support from the public sector.
• Prices of fertilizers and pesticides are on
  higher side.
• Old traditional system to dry the paddy rice on
  open space is still in practice.
• Lack of marketing strategy and price mechanism.
