• 43 week program
• Interns achieve a minimum of 1200 hours of
  supervised practice
• The internship is divided into three major
  segments Food Service Management, Clinical
  Nutrition Services, and Specialty/Community/Affili
  ations

Internship Requirements

• One must agree to follow the companies Code of
  Ethics
• Background Check
• Physical and up-to-date Immunization
• Must be a member of the Academy of Nutrition and
  Dietetics
• Required to become certified in Food Protection
  (Serv Safe)
• Responsible for own Housing and Transportation

Application Information and Requirements

• Education
• All applicants must receive a baccalaureate
  degree and fulfill the didactic requirements of
  ACEND
• Overall grade point average should be 3.0 or
  better
• Grade point average in major courses should be
  3.5 or better.
• Grade point average in the sciences must be at
  least 3.0

• Most work experience has application to the field
  of dietetics
• Paid work experience is given stronger
  consideration than experience gained through
  volunteer work

• Must have strong Application Letter as well as
  Reference Letters
