Objectives

• Get the participants organized for the conduct of
  the IAEA standard exercise

How

• You will be divided into groups of controllers
• You will be assigned specific functions
• You will review your roles and think about what
  you need to know and what you need to do
• For the exercise, some will be selected to act as
  actual controllers
• The rest will be players

Selected Controllers(Select 2 persons for each
position)

• Chief controller instructor
• Chief evaluator
• Site controller/evaluator
• Radiation 1 controller
• First response controller/evaluator
• Medical 1 controller

• W-2

Note controllers will also be evaluators
because of the reduced availability of personnel

Review

• Controllers, review your roles and instructions
• Site controller
• Prepare material for the scene
• Brief victims and prepare them
• Radiation 1 controller
• Customize radiation data at the scene
• Distribute to other controllers
