How to Avoid Violation of the Compulsory
Attendance Laws
  • Bring your child to school every day and on time.
  • Submit notes from physician and/or school
    personnel (keep copies).
  • Communicate regularly with PSA Counselor/School
    Administrator.
  • Meet with Teacher (attend school meetings, parent
    conferences, IEPs).
  • Make doctor and dental appointments after school
    or on school holidays.
  • Maintain a schedule for your child at home .
