    differences were resolved.

Possible Answers
  • Federalists were for the Constitution and a
    strong central government. They thought that the
    Constitution took care of all of the weaknesses
    that had existed in the Articles of
    Confederation.
  • Antifederalists were opposed to the Constitution
    for three main reasons
  • They thought the President would become
    kinglike.
  • They felt the states would have less power and be
    weakened by it.
  • The Constitution did not guarantee peoples
    individual rights and liberties without a Bill of
    Rights added.
