  • Use semicolons to join two INDEPENDENT clauses
    that are not joined by a FANBOY.
  • Make sure they are CLOSELY related.
  • Related I called Erin she is my

    ALREADY have commas in them.
  • Example I hope one day to visit Madrid, Spain
