- God said Let there be an expanse to separate
water from water
5God called the expanse sky.
6Tuesday
- God said Let the dry ground appear
7God called the dry land earth and the mass of
the waters seas, and God saw that it was good.
8Wednesday
- God said Let the land produce vegetation seed
bearing plants, and fruit trees on earth, bearing
fruit with their seed inside
9and God saw that it was good.
10Thursday
- God said Let there be lights in the expanse of
the sky to separate the day from the night
11And it was so. God made two great lights - the
greater light to govern the day and the lesser
light to govern the night. He also made the stars.
12Friday
- God said
- Let the water teem with living creatures,
13and let birds fly above the earth across the
expanse of the sky
14 let the earth produce every kind of living
creature in its own species cattle, creeping
things, and wild animals of all kinds.
15- God said Let us make man in our own image, in
the likeness of ourselves,
16and let them be masters of the fish of the sea,
the birds of heaven, the cattle, all the wild
animals, and all the creatures that creep along
the ground.
17Saturday
- The heavens and the earth were completed in all
their vast array.
18By the seventh day God had finished the work he
had been doing so on the seventh day he rested
from all his work.
