Title: Welcome to Room 206!

Welcome to Room 206!
2
  • Get used to being the best class in
  • the state of Pennyslvania!

3
About the Teacher
  • I am a graduate of Pennsylvania State
University where I received a Bachelors degree
in Education, a Masters degree in Curriculum and
    Development, and Reading Specialist
    certification.
  • I am not a native Pennsylvanian like my mother
and grandmother however, I have lived in the
Harrisburg area for 25 years. I currently live
in a beautiful but smelly area in Millersburg on
four acres adjacent to an Amish Dairy and a
quarter of a mile from a chicken farm. Before
moving to Pennsylvania, I was a Navy wife for a
short time after having grown up an Army brat.
  • I have been married to my best friend for 36
years, and I have three grown children, eleven
grandchildren, and two stubborn but adorable
    long-haired, black and tan mini-dachshunds.
Truly, I am a blessed person!

About the Teacher Continued
  • My husband and I enjoy watching DIY shows,
    viewing Pinterest, and refurbishing, repairing,
and repurposing castoff items in our spare time.
We (meaning my husband is completing the
skilled labor duties and I am deconstructing,
    painting, and decorating) are currently
remodeling a circa 1900 house that is taking
three times as much money and time as
anticipated, but we are beginning to see the
light at the end of the tunnel.
  • We just opened up a booth at By they River
Antiques on Church Street in Elizabethville.
