The Master of Deception

• You are of your father the devil, and you want to
  do the desires of your father. He was a murderer
  from the beginning, and does not stand in the
  truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever
  he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature,
  for he is a liar and the father of lies. (John
  844 cf. Gen. 34-5)
• No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an
  angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising if
  his servants also disguise themselves as servants
  of righteousness, whose end will be according to
  their deeds. (2 Cor. 1114-15)
• Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be
  able to stand firm against the schemes of the
  devil. (Eph. 611)

• And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent
  of old who is called the devil and Satan, who
  deceives the whole world he was thrown down to
  the earth, and his angels were thrown down with
  him. (Rev. 129)
• And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the
  woman being quite deceived, fell into
  transgression. (1 Tim. 214)
• But I am afraid, lest as the serpent deceived Eve
  by his craftiness, your minds should be led
  astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion
  to Christ. (2 Cor. 113)

Be Not Deceived

• Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not
  inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived
  neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor
  adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexualswill
  inherit the kingdom of God (1 Cor. 69-11)
• Do not be deceived "Bad company corrupts good
  morals." (1 Cor. 1533)
• Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every
  good thing given and every perfect gift is from
  above, coming down from the Father of lights,
  with whom there is no variation or shifting
