THE PAINTING
Francesco del Giocondo has ordered the portrait
of his wife called Lisa Gherardini. It is 77
centimeters high and it is 53 centimeters long.
The painter used oil on poplar wood. In the back
ground we can see a landscape with mountains in
the mist. Mona Lisas head shares the painting
into two parts where the horizon isnt at the
same plane. Leonardo Da Vinci drew a fuzzy
landscape because he wanted the woman to stand
out. It could be an imaginaire landscape. Mona
Lisa hasnt any hair in her eyelashes and her
eyebrows in this painting, as if she could
reflect purity and wisdom. Her hands are clasped
maybe to show that shes shy. Mona Lisas face is
really realistic and her look is really human,
Leonardo Da Vinci maybe painted his idea woman .
