Chandel District Achievements Critical Points
A Availability of food-grains All the sample schools having MDM schemes collected their food-grains from the concerned BRC No buffer stock and delayed in delivering food-grains at schools
B Timely release of funds No achievement Delayed in releasing funds and cooking costs more than 3 (three) month
C Availability of Cook-cum-helpers 64.86 of the cooks are female belonging to ST category they are recommended by SMC Kwatha Jr. HS, Gomi PS, Pelyang PS and Maha Union Govt. Hr. Sec. S engaged male cooks
D Regularity in Serving Meals in a month Sample schools served meals minimum 7 (seven) days in a month Lamlong Khullen HS, Liwachaning PS, Purumchumbang PS and Thamlai PS do not give the exact MDM served days

E Quality and Quantity of Meal 59.46 of the sample schools received good quality food grains 62.16 of the sample schools reported that the food-grains received by the school authorities according to their previous year enrolled students strength were inadequate.
F Variety of Menu No achievement None of the sample schools displayed MDM menu chart at the kitchen
G Trends of Variation No achievement During the monitoring period there was no uniformity in the schedule of harvesting holiday

H Social Equity No discrimination in cooking and serving MDM meals 15 (fifteen) sample schools served the MDM meals by arranging bench-desk. None of the sample schools maintained School Health Card None of the sample schools have proper drinking water, sanitation programme and other departmental schemes.

G Trends of Variation 92.11 of the sample schools served MDM meals during MI visit Leirikyengbam Awang Leikai PS, Top Dusara PS and Pourabi Jr. HS had not prepared MDM meals on the monitoring day
