•  It comprises the major component of the Sun.
  Heating a gas may ionize its molecules or atoms
  (reducing or increasing the number
  of electrons in them), thus turning it into a
  plasma, which contains charged particles
  positive ions and negative electrons or ions

Phase changes

• In order to change a state of matter
• energy needs to be either absorbed or release.

Physical Change

• All changes in the states of matter are
  considered to be physical changes.
• A physical change only changes the state of
  matter and not the composition of the matter.
