• The Huichol Indians of Jalisco, Mexico believe
  that when hung over a childs bed, the Ojo de
  Dios ensures a child of a long and healthy life.
• The father weaves the central eye when a child
  is born and one eye is added each year until the
  child reaches the age of 5.
