  • Procedure
  • Using a ruler, construct a vector diagram based
    on the dimensions provided. You will then make a
    rectangle based on your x and y values. Accuracy
    in measuring is important!
  • Draw a diagonal within your rectangle to
    represent the resultant of the x and y vector
    components.
  • Use a ruler to measure the length of the diagonal
    to the tenth of a cm. Next, calculate the
    resultant using the Pythagorean theorem. Record
    in your table.
