• Adults from community such as businesses and
  organizations work 1-1 with youth in school for l
  hour a week
• Build a stable, on-going relationship and create
  a positive connection with an adult
• Provide a strong role model for the student
• Help the student develop goals for self that lead
  to independence and success now and in the future
