We probably had a power outage. The clock
automatically resets to twelve when the
electricity comes back on.

this pile of textbooks. Have you gotten the texts
for your classes yet?
None of the books I need had come in
What did the bookstore do about that?
I was given a rain check and was told too check
back in a few days

Im working right up to the start time. By the
time I get to the field and find a parking place,
the game will already be into the first quarter
and I wont be able to find a seat.
Cant you get off any earlier? Or go in an hour
earlier? Or put in some hours later in the week?

No I dont dare ask my boss. I guess I just have
to miss the first quarter.
I tell you what. Ill save us both good seats,
and you try to get there as soon as you can.
