Current Thinking
  • First Standard needs to be based on Bluetooth
    Specification version 1.1 including IEEE input.
  • IEEE assumes that ver1.1 will be fairly stable
    for L2CAP and below.
  • IEEE plans to deal with versions 1.1 as
    supplements to the base standard.

Requests
  • Merge IEEE comments into v1.1 errata
  • Establish engagement with Test Group to enable
    SDL validation
  • Supply v1.1 completed Errata now (restricted
    distribution)
  • Supply v1.1 Specification as early as possible
    (semi-public release)
