Title: Our choices and the actions that follow them will determine our destiny.

1
Our choices and the actions that follow
them will determine our destiny.
  • Self deception is far easier than most realize!
    (Gal 67-8)

2
Our choices and the actions that follow
them will determine our destiny.
  • Galatians 67-8 (NKJV) - Do not be deceived, God
is not mocked for whatever a man sows, that he
will also reap. 8For he who sows to his flesh
will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who
sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap
    everlasting life.

3
Our choices and the actions that follow
them will determine our destiny.
  • It is very possible to know a principle of
righteousness but then "reason" in such a way as
to not apply it to yourself.

4
Our choices and the actions that follow
them will determine our destiny.
  • We can become overconfident because we have
hidden things from those around us or even worse
have surrounded ourselves with people who dare
    not cross us!

5
Our choices and the actions that follow
them will determine our destiny.
  • We can become overconfident because we have
hidden things from those around us or even worse
have surrounded ourselves with people who dare
    not cross us!
  • The lesson of Judas is one of destiny. How did he
    end up where he did?

6
Our choices and the actions that follow
them will determine our destiny.
  • We can become overconfident because we have
hidden things from those around us or even worse
have surrounded ourselves with people who dare
    not cross us!
  • The lesson of Judas is one of destiny. How did he
    end up where he did?
  • After the ascension of Jesus the first order of
business was to replace Judas. (Acts 115-17)

7
Our choices and the actions that follow
them will determine our destiny.
  • Acts 115-17 (NKJV) - And in those days Peter
stood up in the midst of the disciples
(altogether the number of names was about a
hundred and twenty), and said, 16Men and
brethren, this Scripture had to be fulfilled,
which the Holy Spirit spoke before by the mouth
of David concerning Judas, who became a guide to
those who arrested Jesus 17 for he was numbered
with us and obtained a part in this ministry.

8
Our choices and the actions that follow
them will determine our destiny.
  • Very pointedly the destiny of Judas was stated.
    (Acts 124-25)

9
Our choices and the actions that follow
them will determine our destiny.
  • Acts 124-25 (NKJV) - And they prayed and said,
You, O Lord, who know the hearts of all, show
which of these two You have chosen 25to take part
in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas
by transgression fell, that he might go to his
    own place.

10
Our choices and the actions that follow
them will determine our destiny.
  • And so it will be true with us that we go to our
"own place." Where will it be?

but because he was a thief, and had the money
box and he used to take what was put in it.

17

earth. 18 Therefore He has mercy on whom He
wills, and whom He wills He hardens. 19 You will
say to me then, Why does He still find fault?
For who has resisted His will?
