Introduction
  • In Europe Knight means mounted warrior of a
    secondary noble rank.
  • Knights are soldiers who pledge there loyalty to
    a king or lord and in return the Knights got to
    own land.

Becoming a knight
  • To become a knight you have to first be the son
    of a noble.
  • At age eight they would go to a near by castle
    and train as a page.
  • At the age of 15 or 16 they would be a servant to
    a Knight as a squire.

Interesting Facts
  • Knights wore armor in battle and were heavily
    armed.
  • Knights armor was made from chain mail-small
    inter locking metal links stitched to knee length
    leather shirts.

Knights Code of Chivalry
  • To fear God and maintain His Church
  • To give succor (To give assistants to in time of
    need) to widows and orphans
  • To refrain from the wanton giving of offence
  • To live by honor and for glory
  • To despise pecuniary (consisting of or measured
    in money) reward
