    conjunction joining them.

    comma.
  • FRAGMENT An incomplete thought

SENTENCE SENSE
  • When the subject of one sentence is repeated
    after a comma, very likely what follows the comma
    is a new sentence. Therefore, using only a comma
    to separate the two ideas is insufficient.
