Emotions

• According to UC Berkeley emotions such as love,
  compassion, and other positive emotions, helps
  people out of trauma. During 9/11 people that
  experienced good emotions got over the trauma
  easier.

• Since there are no emotions in the Giver
  community, if anything bad happens, like the
  memories getting out, you would not be able to
  deal with it. If you come to the Giver community
  because you have experienced trauma, you will not
  be able to deal with it because you do not have
  the emotions to get over it.

Animals and how they interact with Humans

  unconditional affection. No matter how cranky
  one might become, your pet always forgives you
  and still loves you. What's more, your pet's
  affection for you, and your relationship with
  your pet, is not complicated by the "head games"
  people often play with each other. Your pet
  accepts you for who you are.

• The article shows that animals are comforting
  beings and are common stress relievers.

Rainbows are one of the most beautiful
spectacles nature has to offer -- so beautiful,
in fact, that they've inspired countless fairy
tales, songs and legends. It's a good bet that
most of the artists behind these tales were
totally mystified by the rainbow phenomenon --

• Imagine one day waking up and finding that your
  red hat had just turned grey and once you look
  around you find that everything is either gray,
  white or black.

The Giver Community Doesnt Give Anything Good!!

• Who wants to live in a place with no emotions?
  Even if you experience bad emotions, there are so
  many good ones its totally worth it. Also, you
  get to see colors in our community which are a
  beautiful thing to behold. Furthermore, you can
  interact with animals which play important roles
  in many peoples lives. Keep away from the Giver
  community, or you wont have these pleasures in
  life!
