Title: Milwaukee Community Compost Network

Milwaukee Community Compost Network
  • Our Mission To Educate businesses and residents
to recycle their vegetable and fruit scraps at
home or at one of our many community compost
sites. The soil generated aids in the food
production of local farms, community gardens, and
    home victory gardens.
  • The Kompost Kids We are a group of volunteers,
businesses, and consumers working hard to create
a decentralized composting operation that helps
urban agriculture have access to high quality,
clean soil for the purpose of growing sustainable
GOOD FOOD, while turning waste in black gold
(aka, soil). This is a volunteer run operation
and we invite you to participate in the
production of soil, not oil. Currently, we are
composting a two main locations, Concordia
Gardens, Sweet Water Organics, and Bay View Hide
    House Community Garden.

    community gardens, and local businesses
  • Business Composting
  •
  • Kompost Kids pick-up from businesses by community
    compost piles
  •
  • Some businesses pay to have pick-ups and to show
