Why the name Covalent?
Covalent bonding is a form of chemical bonding
based on atoms binding tightly together by
sharing electrons with each other. Covalent is
so-named to reinforce the concept of bonding, in
this case tightly aligning the work people do
with what the organisation is trying to
achieve. Covalent links objectives with the
performance measures in use, so work done and
resources used are aligned to priorities and aims.

    organisations strategies, and maps PIs, Actions,
    and Risks at each level in a hierarchical tree.
  • Levels can include Themes, Strategies,
    Priorities, Objectives and Aims.

A panic overlay button offers at-a-glance traffic
lighted view of status for each element in the
Scorecard, with scores aggregated up to indicate
status on corporate priorities and
objectives. Each element can be weighted to
define the level of importance.
