Homework Students are expected to read for a
minimum of 15 minutes every evening Monday
through Friday. Reading is encouraged over the
weekend as well. Please record all reading in
the reading minutes log. Students are also to
practice their Math Facts for 10 minutes every
evening with the assigned facts for the week.
The math facts practice sheet will be in a
plastic sheet protector. Students may use a dry
erase marker to practice and reuse the assignment
throughout the week. Homework will be in the form
of a homework packet. It will be given out on
Friday and then collected the following Friday.
Reading minutes will be checked weekly along with

Teacher /Parent Communication Communication is a
very important component to any relationship.
This holds true for the teacher, parent, and
student relationship. There are many ways that
we will provide you information about what is
going on in the classroom. Every week we will
send home a weekly newsletter. The homework
sheet also contains important notes and
information. Each teacher maintains a website
uses e-mail to communicate personally. You may
call or e-mail and we will get back to you within
24 hrs. If you would like to meet with us before
or after school please contact us and we will set
up an appointment.
