8Great Expectations Church Plan
A Road Map for Continuous Kingdom Building
in the Baptist Churches Northern Cape
9Assumption
- We should understand (should believe) that
anything is possible. We should believe that the
Holy Spirit is unpredictable. I believe we will
be able to execute the plan that is anchored in
the mission of Sharon Baptist Church, but
sufficiently visionary to require our dependence
on God to see it fulfilled.
10 Articles of Faith
The Sharon Baptist church, Northern Cape
ascribes to these Articles of Faith which
represents what we believe
11 Mission Statement

Christ, we are committed to evangelize the
unsaved, and equip the saints for ministry
beyond our walls.

impacting lives through missions and Leadership

21Continuous Reform
- ??Ministry is a marathon. Its not how you
start that matters, but how you end. - ??Vision is the ability to see opportunities
within your current circumstances. - ??To design the right strategy you must ask the
right questions.
22Continuous Reform
- ??Most healthy, large churches are led by a
pastor who has been there a long time. - ??A churchs health is measured by its sending
capacity, not its seating capacity. - ??God always uses imperfect people in imperfect
situations to accomplish His will. - ??Where ever God guides, He provides.
23Continuous Reform
- ??The church should be seeker sensitive, but it
must not be seeker driven. - ??Plans, programs, and, personalities dont
last. Gods purposes will last. - ??Absolutely nothing will revitalize a
discouraged church faster than rediscovering its
purpose.

31Commitment For Excellence - Scripture Reference
So let us concentrate on the things which make
for harmony, and on the growth of our fellowship
together. (Rom.1419 Phillips)
Have a sincere love for other believers, love
one another earnestly with all your heart. ( 1
Peter 122 TEV)
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of
your mouths, but only what is helpful for
building others up according to their needs.
(Eph. 429)
Obey your leaders and submit to their authority.
They keep watch over you as men who must give
an account. Obey them so their work will be a
joy, not a burden, for that would be no
advantage to you. (Heb. 1317)
To the church - . We always thank God for you
and pray for you constantly (1 Thess.
11 - 2 LB) The Master said to the servant, Go
out to the roads and country lanes, and urge the
people there to come so my house will be full.

just as Christ has warmly welcomed you then God
will be glorified (Rom. 157 LB)
