3WHAT IS ADOBE ACROBAT?
- Adobe Acrobat 8.0 Standard enables you to
review, edit, save - and email any document in a format called .PDF
(Portable - Document Format).
- A PDF is a universal file format that preserves
all of the - fonts, images, hyperlinks, bookmarks, and
formatting of - any document saved in that format.
4HOW TO LAUNCH ADOBE ACROBAT 8.0 STANDARD
Select Start, All Programs, and then Adobe
Acrobat 8.0 Standard.

5CAPTURING WORD DOCUMENTS AS PDFS
1. From the Menu Bar of the document that you
would like to convert to a PDF, select Adobe
PDF, and then Convert to Adobe PDF.

2. From the Save Adobe PDF File As Dialog Box,
select the location where the document is to be
saved, enter the name of the document in the
File Name Field, and then select Save.

3. The Acrobat PDFMaker Dialog Box will appear
as the document is being converted to a PDF. The
document will then be displayed as a PDF file.
8CAPTURING A WEB PAGE AS A PDF
1. From an opened Internet Explorer window,
displaying the desired website, select the arrow
to the right of the Adobe Acrobat Icon, then
Convert Web Page to PDF .

2. From the Convert Web Page to Adobe PDF Dialog
Box, select the location where the document is
to be saved, enter the name of the document in
the File Name Field, and then select Save.

3. The Conversion to PDF Progress Box will
appear as the web page is being captured as a
PDF (select close upon completion). The web
page will then be displayed as a PDF file.

From the Toolbar, select Comments followed by
Add Sticky Note, left click where you would
like the note to be placed, and then enter the
text for the note in the field.
