  • Motion sensors in each room detect movement
  • Outdoor light sensor to detect evening
  • Automatically switches on lights in rooms where
    motion is present
  • Randomly switch on lights when not at home
  • Can control normal lights or dimmer lights (i.e.
    can slowly turn on the lights in the morning as
    an alarm clock)

  • Tiered star topology to ease wiring problems
  • Devices identify themselves when connected.
    Central unit acts like the USB Host Controller

  • A.C. Mains modems allow most flexible

    coupled directly to sensors and motors.

    where power is also provided. Lower transfer
