Helping TESS!
  • You will have a home group and a treatment group.
You will meet in your home groups first and
decide what treatment team you will be on
    psychodynamic, humanist, behaviorist, social,
    cognitive, or biopsychology.
  • Now, you will meet up with your treatment team.
After introductions, you will divide out the
task. As a treatment team, you will need to
    complete the following
  • Informative visual to use during your class
    presentation.
  • Thorough understanding/background of your
methodology for your class and group
    presentation.
  • Work within the bounds and vocabulary of your
methodology to diagnose and treat Tess using the
    treatment form provided.
  • Once you complete the task, your treatment group
will do a short class presentation to introduce
the class to the different areas.

9
Helping TESS!
  • Once all treatment groups have presented, you
will meet back in your home groups where you will
discuss your methodology in more depth and how it
applies to Tess discussing specifically in
specific vocabulary how you might diagnose and
    treat Tess.
  • Once everyone has shared their perspective you
will discuss and approve an overall treatment
plan for Tess potentially using more than just
    one method.
  • Following your discussion, you will present to
the class what you choose for Tess and the
    reasons for your choice.
