  • Hydrological study in the Niger River Basin
  • For a streamflow study in the Niger river basin,
    time series of daily discharge data, between 1981
    and 2010, longer then 15 years, at stations on
    the rivers in the Niger river basin are
    requested. As far as available information should
    be provided about missing values.
  • find extent and temporal resolution of time
    series, e.g. 1981-2010, 15, daily,
  • f... missing value information of the time
    series, e.g. percentage of missing values.
  • f... the hydrologic variable of which time series
    are avaiable, e.g. discharge.
  • f... the hydrologic process characterised by the
    variable, e.g. streamflow.
  • f... the river characterised by the variable,
    e.g. Benue river.
  • f... the basin represented by the Benue river,
    e.g. Niger basin.
  • A list, and a map, of all stations in the Niger
    river basin should be provided comprising the
    available time series of daily data between 1981
    and 2010 with a minimum length of 15 years which
    enables the user to identify a station of
    interest and select the time series by percentage
    of missing values.

  • A regional data center collect time series of
    daily data from decentralised stations whose data
    are provided in automated way. As far as
    available information should be provided how the
    data values are aggregated and about the
    instrument or method used for the value
    determination.

    series, e.g. daily
  • f... options to transfer time series, e.g.
    semi-automated transfer, protocols,
  • f... aggregated data value compiled in the time
    series, e.g. aggregation interval.
  • f... the hydrologic variable of which time series
    are available, e.g. discharge.
  • f... determination of discharge values, e.g.
    ADCP, float gauge, rating.
  • f... the station for which discharge data are
    available, e.g. 26900400 (Cochem).
