Background
  • Evaluations have been made previously of CRTP and
    ROCCO over simulated WCDMA air interfaces.
  • It is always good to get simulation results
    verified with real-life field trials.
  • With field trials it is also possible to gain
    practical experience which may help in algorithm
    development.
  • A field trial was performed in Chiba, Japan, in
    July on Japan Telecoms WCDMA experimental system.
    The field trial tested CRTP and ROCCO over the
    WCDMA air interface.

Summary
  • A field trial has been made in Chiba, Japan, in

    CRTP over a WCDMA air interface.
