Current Grid Activities

• We are participating in this year in the DATA
  CHALLENGE 1(DC1) of ATLAS experiment with two
  goals
• Event productions in our farm in order to
  provide samples for physics studies and make the
  Technical Design Report for the end of 2002.
• To test in our farm the new software, including
  Geant4, the new event data model and the
  evaluation of two database technologies,
  Objectivity and Root-I/O.

• Geant connectivity at 2.5 Gbits/s.
• US connectivity at 180 Mbits/s.

• Gibabit Ethernet BackBone in local area network.
• Fiber optic link with University BackBone using

• Fiber optic link of 155 Mbits/s with IP over ATM
  from the University to RedIris (Shared among

  Comunidad Valenciana)
