System status problems

• Stored queries are marked to run when the
  title/issn theyre
• looking for are deposited

• Stored queries currently take much too long to
  run
• Redesign the system to allow parallel stored
  query processing (current process is
  multi-threaded, but dependent on a single Oracle
  database)
• Redesign the stored query process to narrow the
  scope of each run.

• FL query polling will NOT help.

System status problems

• Forward link alerts are not re-sent when the
  metadata of the citing DOI changes
• Resending FL query (alertfalse) will retrieve
  latest metadata
• Still need to know if a bulk forward linking
  dump file would be helpful ??? (all the forward
  cites to a given journal)
• e.g. if we build it will it get used???
