OJSC Minsk Motor Plant was founded in 1963 and
it is the leading developer and manufacturer of
modern diesel engines, holding the largest share
in the CIS as to the quantities of in-line 4 and
6-cylinder engines. The company offers over 40
diesel engine modifications within the power
range between 60hp and 650hp, which have been
designed for agricultural, road-building and
forestry machinery, trucks and buses, industrial
equipment, various drive units, special and other
machinery with adaptation according to customer
demand. The basic distinguishing features of the

The technology of re-equipping ZIL 130/131 trucks
with diesel engines manufactured by OJSC Minsk
Motor Plant

1. Install the diesel engine, the clutch and the
   gear box.
2. Connect the engine to the on-board electric
   circuit (12V).
3. Connect the sensors.
4. Connect the engines cooling system (pipes,
   radiator, expansion tank etc.)
5. Connect the fuel supply system. It is recommended
   to add an MMP coarse fuel filter to it.
6. Install the air filter.
7. Divert exhaust gases.

Converting trucks from gasoline to diesel is not
a complicated procedure from the technical
viewpoint or requiring special equipment and

(re-equipment instruction manuals, operation and
