What is notation?
  • Notation is a system in which we write, read, or
    compose music.

  • The repeat sign means to go back to the beginning
    and sing/play again.

  • The top number of the time signature tells how
    many beats will be in each measure. The bottom
    number tells which note will get the main beat.
