What is the Berlin Wall?

• The Berlin Wall is a wall or barrier separating
  West Berlin from East. The Iron Curtain was the
  symbol and physical boundary dividing Europe into
  two areas from 1945-1991.

What was the Berlin Airlift?

• The Berlin Airlift happened during the Cold War.
  It was a genius solution to a very serious supply
  problem.

How many people died from trying to jump the
Berlin Wall?

• Approximately 133 people were killed trying to
  cross or jump the wall. This happened in West
  Berlin. In all, at least 800 or more were killed.
  They had Barbed-Wire, Guard dogs, Police, and
  Guns.

What parts of Berlin did the Berlin Wall separate?

• The Berlin Wall separated East Berlin from West
  Berlin. The West side of the Wall had the most
  freedom.

What impact did the Berlin Wall have on the U.S.
today?

• There is no impact on the U.S. today because of
  the Berlin Wall.
