Lineage and Honors 801st Airborne Ordnance
Company was organized and activated 2 Oct
1942 Inactivated in Auxere, France, 30 Nov
1945 801st Maintenance Battalion was
reorganized, redesigned and activated in June
1965 at Fort Campbell Reorganized as part of the
101st Airborne division (Air Assault) in January
1972. The 801st Main Support Battalion was
reorganized, redesigned and activated 1 Oct
1992.
