  Philadelphia to fight together until they were
  free from Britain

• The Americans attacked the British army face to
  face. Although they killed more (226 to 115) they
  were easily defeated

  surprise attacks to weaken the British army over
  many years

• The Americans crushed the British army on the
  land whilst Spanish and French ships cut off a
  retreat. Britain surrender!
