report survey results to the Secretary.

HEOA Requirements
  • In keeping with purposes of this part, the
Secretary takes into account the degree to which
activities of centers, programs, and fellowships
at institutions of higher education address
national needs, and generate information for and
    disseminate information to the public.
  • The Secretary also considers an applicants
record of placing students into postgraduate
employment, education, or training in areas of
national need and an applicants stated efforts
to increase the number of such students that go
    into such placements.
  • Each application must include-

the grant will reflect diverse perspectives and a
wide range of views and generate debate on world
    regions and international affairs and
  • A description of how the applicant will encourage
