plant in place. They take in water from the
soil. They take in food from the soil

What does the stem do?
The stems jobs The stem stands the plant
up. The stem is the elevator that takes the
food and water to the rest of the plant.

Why do plants have leaves?
The leafs job The leaf breathes in aircalled
carbon dioxide and breathes out oxygen. The
leaf takes in energy from the sun and turns
it into energy for the plant.
This is called photosynthesis.
