1
Welcome to the fotoshow of the worlds hugest
Open Space, May 3rd in Würzburg, Germany
2
This is our location two huge tents with a
passthrough
3
And this is, what its all about. One day of Open
Space, embedded in a four days congress for
systems constellations.
4
Of course we have a schedule.
5
..and a team to lead through and to do all the
preparations.
6
And there is a lot to do
7
There are numbers to write
8
balloons to blow up
9
- many balloons -
10
.butterflies to paint
11
charts to write. (I guess, this is going to be
the Law of two Feet)
12
Not to forget the markers
13
and the report sheets.
14
This doesnt look like a break-out room at all!
15
Ok, this is much better.
16
And how will this be done?
17
But lifting the posters with the balloons works
really fine.
18
And the cushions!
19
Oh god, there must be thousands!
20
Hours of work later
21
Well done folks, see you tomorrow!
22
Phew, tired. Lets go to bed. Only two hours of
sleep tonight
23
Next morning, 6.49 am
24
This way please!
25
30 minutes to go Harrison Owen, concentrating
before showing up
26
The crowd is increasing
27
.increasing
28
and increasing.
29
1 more minute to go! 2108 waiting to start.

Ok, lets do it!
31
Walking the circle in a duet Harrison in
English..

36
And now the time has come.
37
.for the topics of your passion!
38
It is a hard time waiting for conveining.
39
the queue is pretty long
40
..and only one in front.
41
She already made her announcement.
42
.while others relax.
43
.or observe.
44
The bulletinboard, 150 m long.
45
What a choice, 232 workshops!
46
Some workshops sound more appellative
47
others inspiring
48
and there is support.
49
Its hard to decide where to go...
50
and quite a walk to see them all
51
this can cut you down.
52
But how to find the group?
53
Numbered balloons show you the way
54
..and sometimes you get helpful advice for your
journey.
55
Anyway, dozends of working groups in three
sessions.
56
and so many different ways to feel comfortable
On chairs
57
..on the ground
58

59
Some groups were large,
60
some of them were small
61
some of them were really packed
62
some very tiny.
63
Butterflies
64

65

69
or in the beergarden
70
.some need to dance (or is it taj chi?)
71
to read..
72

73
It needs a long kitchen line.
74
,,,to feed the masses.

77
at the copyingmachine.

your heart. I will never forget this day.
