MOSES FAMILY
AMRAM AND JOCHEBED (EX. 620)
SISTER MIRIAM (EX. 1520)
BROTHER AARON (EX. 77)
Hebrews 1123 By faith Moses, when he was born,
was hidden three months by his parents, because
they saw he was a beautiful child and they were
not afraid of the king's command.

TEACH YOUR CHILDREN ABOUT GOD
Deuteronomy 6 5 "You shall love the LORD your God
with all your heart, with all your soul, and with
all your strength. 6 " And these words which I
command you today shall be in your heart. 7 "You
shall teach them diligently to your children, and
shall talk of them when you sit in your house,
when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and
when you rise up. 8 "You shall bind them as a
sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets
between your eyes. 9 "You shall write them on
the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
3
Ephesians 61 Children, obey your parents in the
Lord, for this is right. 2 "Honor your father
and mother," which is the first commandment with
promise 3 "that it may be well with you and you
may live long on the earth." 4 And you, fathers,
do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring
them up in the training and admonition of the
Lord.
1 Samuel 212 Now the sons of Eli were corrupt
they did not know the LORD.
4
Acts 722 "And Moses was learned in all the
wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words
and deeds.
Hebrews 1124 By faith Moses, when he became of
age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's
daughter, 25 choosing rather to suffer
affliction with the people of God than to enjoy
the passing pleasures of sin, 26 esteeming the
reproach of Christ greater riches than the
treasures in Egypt for he looked to the reward.

MOSES MAKES 5 ATTEMPTS NOT TO SERVE GOD
1. Exodus 311 But Moses said to God, "Who am I
that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should
bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?"
Ex. 312 So He said, "I will certainly be with
you.
2. Exodus 313 Then Moses said to God, "Indeed,
when I come to the children of Israel and say to
them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to
you,' and they say to me, 'What is His name?'
what shall I say to them?"
Ex. 314 say to the children of Israel, 'I AM
has sent me to you.' "
8
3. Exodus 41 Then Moses answered and said, "But
suppose they will not believe me or listen to my
voice suppose they say, 'The LORD has not
appeared to you.' "

slow of speech and slow of tongue."
Exodus 4 11 So the LORD said to him, "Who has
made man's mouth? Or who makes the mute, the
deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the
LORD? 12 "Now therefore, go, and I will be with
your mouth and teach you what you shall say."
10
5. Exodus 413 But he said, "O my Lord, please
send by the hand of whomever else You may send."
VRS 14 -17 ALL MOSES EXCUSES MADE THE LORD ANGRY,

Exodus 424 And it came to pass on the way, at
the encampment, that the LORD met him and sought
to kill him. 25 Then Zipporah took a sharp stone
and cut off the foreskin of her son and cast it
at Moses' feet, and said, "Surely you are a
husband of blood to me!" 26 So He let him go.
Then she said, "You are a husband of blood!" --
because of the circumcision.
