  • lines 1, 2, and 5 all rhyme
  • lines 3 and 4 rhyme
  • there is a specific rhythm (see example)

  • There once was a lady from Nantucket.
  • Who lived her whole life in a bucket.
  • Her pleasures unknown,
  • Were completely thrown,
  • When in a mudhole her bucket got stuckit.
